RovyVon GL4 Pro FAQ

Everything you need to know about the 4-in-1 Tactical Light.

What are the 4 light sources included in the GL4 Pro?
The GL4 Pro is a comprehensive aiming solution featuring:
  • White Light: 400 Lumens (5200 Candela)
  • Visible Green Laser: 520nm, <5mW (IEC 60825-1:2014 Class 3R, FDA Accession Number: 2421159-000)
  • IR Illuminator: 300mW LED-based (850nm)
  • IR Laser: 850nm, <0.39mW (Class I)
What batteries does it use and what is the runtime?
The unit is powered by one CR123A (included) or one 16340 Li-ion rechargeable battery. It provides approximately 1.5 hours of runtime on the high-output white light or IR illuminator modes.
How do I replace the battery?
Replacing the battery is simple and does not require removing the unit from your rail:
  1. Locate the battery compartment cap on the front of the unit (next to the lens).
  2. Unscrew the cap counter-clockwise by hand.
  3. Insert a fresh CR123A or 16340 battery with the Positive (+) terminal facing outward (toward the cap).
  4. Replace the cap and tighten firmly clockwise to ensure the waterproof seal is engaged.
Note: Ensure the O-ring is seated correctly to maintain the IPX7 waterproof rating.
Is the GL4 Pro compatible with my rail system?
Yes. It features a tool-free quick-release lever or cross-bolt mount and includes two interchangeable adapters:
  • GL Adapter: For standard Glock rails.
  • 1913 Adapter: For Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) rails.
How do I zero the lasers? Do I have to do it twice?
The GL4 Pro uses co-axial (slaved) beams. This means the Visible Green Laser and the IR Laser are mounted on the same module. When you zero the visible green laser, the IR laser is automatically zeroed to the same point.
What is the difference between the GL4 Pro and the "Facelift" version?
The "Facelift" (V2) version features improved ambidextrous paddle switches (replacing the side buttons) for more intuitive momentary/constant-on activation, an upgraded quick-release latch as well as crossbolt mount for wider rail compatibility and stability, and a dedicated mode selector dial.
Is it waterproof?
Yes, the GL4 Pro is rated IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 1 meters for 30 minutes.
