Choose the GL2 configuration that matches your setup
VIS, IR, IG and WIL share the same platform. The difference is the light and laser combination, so choose the configuration around the visible or infrared functions you actually need.

VISIBLE SYSTEM
GL2 VIS
White light + 520 nm visible green laser.
Best for: Visible illumination + visible aiming
INFRARED SYSTEM
GL2 IR
850 nm IR illuminator + 850 nm IR laser. Infrared output is not visible to the unaided eye.
Best for: Compatible night-vision systems
HYBRID SYSTEM
GL2 IG
850 nm IR illuminator + 520 nm visible green laser.
Best for: IR illumination + visible aiming
HYBRID SYSTEM
GL2 WIL
White light + 850 nm IR laser. IR laser output is not visible to the unaided eye.

FRONT-LOADING BATTERY
Replace the battery without removing the unit from the rail
The light head opens from the front, allowing routine battery replacement while the mounted body stays in place. This reduces unnecessary disturbance to the mounting position; alignment should still be verified after maintenance or significant impact.

Measure the rail before you order
GL2 requires approximately 35.1 mm / 1.38 in of clear accessory-rail space. The Uni-Lock adjustable rail clamp is designed around approximately 20.3–21.5 mm rail widths. Model names alone do not guarantee fit; verify rail length, slot geometry, width and surrounding clearance.

CONTROLS
Ambidextrous switches with direct mode selection
Rear controls support momentary and constant-on activation, while the selector dial determines the active light/laser combination for the selected GL2 model. The available selector positions differ by configuration.
Momentary-on
Press and hold from the rear; release to turn off.
Constant-on
Use the switch action described in the current manual for continuous output.
Mode selector
Select illumination, laser, or combined output where supported by the chosen model.
ZEROING ADJUSTMENT
Separate windage and elevation adjustment
Elevation uses a gear-driven mechanism and windage uses a spring-tensioned screw structure. Make small adjustments, follow the manual's directional guidance, and verify final alignment after installation or maintenance.
WHITE-LIGHT MODELS
Battery choice changes white-light performance
On GL2 VIS and GL2 WIL, white-light output depends on the installed battery. The 16340 rechargeable option provides the higher output specification; CR123 provides lower output with a primary-cell power option.
