Good for present: small, high quality, comfortable in using

Great little light, the SST has good throw and brightness, haven't tried the Nichia yet. Magnetic pocket clip is a win, but I'd have preffered if the tail magnet was built in rather than a clip on piece of plastic, takes away from the aesthetic and there's a chance it could get lost. Lockout takes 5 clicks but you get used to it, and memory mode is a little long at 3 minutes, if you tend to leave your lights on the same setting for start up it it's fine, you set it once and you're good. But if you like more flexibility in using memory mode that 3 minutes is probably gonna get annoying.
All in all, a good buy, especially when it's on offer. I've ordered two A7's based of my experience with this A2 (G4)

I like this light, but getting it to switch modes reliably is impossible. There was no help from support either.

Good keychain light, solid build, decent output and runtime. Delivered in a nice box. The Nichia 219c gives a very nice tint at 5000K. USB-C charging is also a plus.

The UI (though expected because I read reviews before buying) is a bit cumbersome. The 3 minute memory mode is very long (most lights do this around 5 seconds). And the 5x click lockout is also deviating from UIs in other lights (usually 3 or 5 clicks) and though the button is recessed quite nicely it still needs to be locked out to prevent accidental activation.
