Honestly, the A28's build quality and brightness are phenomenal!
But none of that matters if it doesn't work the way it's built.

I've had the A28 for 1 year and 6 months. I take great care of it, so much so that I store it in a thick pouch to avoid scratches and took care of it as a gold ornament.

Nearly 1 and a half years into using the A28 (NOT EVERY DAY and NOT in extreme CONDITIONS), it stopped working while caving.

I was in an unexplored cave and in an underground river, may have been underwater for no more than 3 minutes and no deeper than a meter, and it stopped working mid-caving. Luckily, I had a backup headlamp (10 USD) that, under the same conditions, was still working.

I reached out to the support team, and they were prompt and professional! very impressive!
However, after asking me to prove that my under-warranty A28 was indeed faulty, they requested that I contact the point of purchase (Taobao).

Why ask me all those details if you're gonna ask me to reach out to someone else?
When I reached out to the point of purchase (Taobao), they asked me similar questions and then asked me to ship it back for repairs.

I felt this entire conversation and effort were unnecessary if I had to ship it back.
I checked the cost of shipping from a reliable company, and the cost was roughly the same as buying a new flashlight from Taobao (a different brand), which has more features and brighter lumens, so I got that instead.

As much as I loved the high quality of this product, it didn't keep up to its IPX8 rating, and that makes it expensive. If it were replaced, as the customer service representative first said, it'd still be a loyalist.

This little guy is packed with features. The main front light is surprisingly bright for its size and last for many hours at normal use. Side lights with mag-clip help when you need both hands.

Well made, easy and quick to charge. Options are great when only a small amount of light is needed and also when bright and strong is required. Sturdy and made safe by attaching lanyard, no losing it from pocket. Highly recommend
